You've likely seen digital signage at the airport, theater, mall, or even your favorite restaurant. Traditional poster/billboard style signs are being replaced with interactive and easy to change digital signs. Not only are these signs easier to maintain, they can also pay for themselves. Businesses that install them in their facilities often take a portion of the display time and sell it out as advertising space. DigitalSignage.com, an information provider for the industry, went to GigaVero with the question "How can we become a digital signage ad media buyer/seller agency?" There were already several companies competing for this ad brokerage space. One thing they all lacked, however, was a website with upfront information that was easy for ad buyers to navigate. GigaVero proposed the creation of a simple web site for ad media buyers. One that would explain the service, and highlight locations where the service would be offered. GigaVero built a website, TeleTagg.com, with both of these requested elements: - Easy to understand upfront service explanation was added to the homepage. Site visitor surveys responded affirmatively to the question "Were you able to understand what the product is, and it's strengths from your initial homepage impression of the website?" - A Google Maps Display was developed/transformed into an "Ad Space Locator" tool and was integrated into the "Locations" page. With custom integration of icons and an easy to update backend (excel spreadsheet based), DigitalSignage.com reported a quick customer uptake and adoption of the tool.
