About GigaVero

GigaVero stands out from the rest... yada yada... you've all heard this before.  Okay, now for the facts:

GigaVero

  • Home Grown - We started from scratch, bootstrapping it like any good entrepreneur would.  We know the challenges you face.
  • 2 Guys - Most of our sites are built with small teams of two.  This ensures design/layout continuity across your website.  Directly involved with each site design are the owners of the company, Dan and Ben (brothers FYI).
  • Got the CMS Groove On - CMSs (Content Management Systems) are a web standards compliant way of ensuring your website works on all computers and is easy to maintain. Building most of our websites in Joomla, WordPress and Magento (the three most widespread CMSs) we guarantee that any changes you would like to make in the future can be made quickly and affordably.  Heck, if you think we talk funny and would rather have someone else update your site, go ahead - there are over 2 million 3 hundred thousand and 17programmers that can program in these CMSs.  GigaVero managed hosting means that your website will be updated to withstand the stormy blows of virus/hacker attack too.

The Other Guys

  • Lab Grown - like some weird fungi, most of GigaVero competitors have big corporate backing and don't understand small biz.
  • 375 Guys - Instead of one or two people working on your website, you've got one guy that does the graphics, one for the logo, one for the layout, one for the collaboration, one for training, etc. Pesonal attention?  Not included.  You have to pay extra for that.
  • Got the Spaghetti Code Mess Going On - Just like a poorly planned Interstate Road Project, website programming can be frustrating to maneuver as well.  GigaVero competitors are famous for using what is known as "spaghetti code".  This kind of coding utilizes outdated, non-standard and down-right broken methodology for creating websites. Not only do these websites look like their build with something thats been lurking at the back of your refrigerator, they're also a smelly mess to clean up. If you ever need to get your website updated, or content changed, you'll need to go back to them because nobody else will be able to maneuver the sloppy spaghetti mix.  The only people crazy enough to mess with your site code will be the web hackers.

The 2 Dudes behind GigaVero

Dan - Web designer and business entrepreneur extraordinaire, Dan Beck has been to the edge of business, and jumped off.  Dan not only knows how to make it in the tumultuous world of business, but he knows how to make it look good.  As founder of several successful businesses, he takes pride in understanding how business marketing works and what kind of visual spin to put on that marketing to make it resonate with the potential customer. Having spent many years working in the highly aggressive and fast paced industry of television and film production, Dan understands deadlines and always delivers on-time and on-budget. Walking the line between analytical and creative, his ability to speak geek, artist and business helps unite the various aspects of a large project.

Ben - Web developer and social media guru, Ben Beck calls the shots around the development side of the office. In other words, he assigns himself development related tasks - building the layout and functionality of client websites. He also works with clients to build their social media campaigns, which in turn strengthen their web presence, which in turn brings in additional web traffic for his clients, which in turn means his clients make more money. With a Bachelors in Business Information Systems from the University of Utah, he has a unique coupling of business know-how and tech expertise. You can read his treatise on technology (aka blog) over at tExtrapolate.com and right HERE at GigaVero.com.
